As a passionate researcher, he dedicated himself to the topics of patent research, trademark research and design researchThe IPnovation team wants to show everyone responsible for innovation how they can benefit from intellectual property (IP).

The technical core competencies of the IPnovation team lie in the sciences of mechanical engineering, automotive technology, electrical engineering, electronics, industrial technology and information technologyIPnovation has scientific know-how in the area of intellectual property rights (IP), which is based, for example, on a multi-semester IP course at the FernUniversität Hagen. This know-how was able to be deepened through many years of work.

Before founding IPnovation, Michael Felbinger worked for a renowned IP service provider for over ten years. In addition to his core activity as a patent researcher , he was able to build up and expand the research department there as team manager from 2003. The focus was on analysis, patent research, trade mark research and design research.

During a part-time course in innovation management at the Austrian Business School, Michael Felbinger was able to deal intensively with the topic of innovation management. As part of a scientific work, he linked the topics of innovation management and intellectual property. The result is a comprehensive study of how innovation managers can benefit from IP.
